Saudi Cup – Entry list and favourites

This year’s victorious Saudi Cup will take home a whopping $9.5 million, with Foverer Young seen by the experts as the favourite to win.

The Yoshito Yahagi-trained horse is still unbeaten on home soil and claimed top honours at the 2024 UAE Derby before securing third place in the Kentucky Derby and the Breeder’s Cup Classic later in the same year.

Also in good form is Romantic Warrior – a proven top-level winner at tracks in Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai and Australia. He impressed and won at Meydan Racecourse in Jebel Hatta last month.

America’s Rattle N Roll also arrives in Riyadh after a win last month. At the same time, Japan will have another contender in the form of Ushba Tesoro, who lost last year’s Saudi Cup to Senor Buscador in a thrilling finish.
