Traditionally, The Cheltenham Festival will take place during four days, which will include Champion Day, Style Wednesday, St Patrick’s Thursday, and finally, the prestigious Gold Cup Day.

This year's Festival will feature a total of 28 races, 14 Grade One races, including the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase, and Stayers' Hurdle.

Finally, Gold Cup Day is often described as the jewel in Jump Racing’s crown. One of the most prestigious trophies in horse racing. Over three miles and two furlongs long, this is the premier race of the event. It will begin at 15:30, and the winner will take home the Gold Cup.

Last year's winner Galopin Des Champs is seen as favourite for this year's pinnacle event of the Festival.
